Custom Cut Quarter Sawn Lumber

Quarter Sawn lumber is more desirable than flat sawn lumber for a couple of reasons. First, the straight grain is highly resistant to cupping as the board dries. This provides for a more stable piece of lumber. Second, quarter sawn lumber often brings out ray flecking which is highly desirable when making furniture pieces (especially "Mission" style furniture).
