Custom cut beams sawn from Eastern White Pine do not crack, bend or twist as much as timbers of oak or fir. They are lightweight, stable and strong, and lend a warm, sturdy feel to your structure. White Pine timbers are an excellent choice for building components, as well as an environmentally sound one. White Pine trees naturally grow very straight and tall, and beams cut from them yield little waste. Fast-growing White Pines are quick to replenish themselves in the forest and are generally less expensive than hardwood beams.
